SLURP!!!

I love me, my Slurpee. I don't care what the weather is, if we pass by a 7-11, I'm stopping and getting one. They are only at 7-11. Sure they have pretenders to the throne all over the place but they aren't the same. My current favorite flavor is Mountain Dew, but the old stand by is Coke. That above was Vanilla Cherry Dr. Pepper it wasn't bad. 

Kim, My Wife, My Best Friend

We've met in August of 1999, started going out in October of 1999, proposed in December 1999, married in July 2000. It was fast, but it seems like we knew each other for years.

How we ever met is still a wonder. I was born and raised on the North side of Chicago. She up by Schaumburg. She moved down here in the mid-90's. I moved down here in '98. I was working at Reliable. She just got a job there and was training w/ one of my friends there when we were arranging to go out to dinner the next night and we invited her along...and she came. So pretty, I was sure she had a stable of guys after her. Then she was invited along to go to the Covered Bridge Festival in Bridge County, IN. Then we hung out more and more. Before you knew it I was falling hard for her. We started going out, and then one day I asked her to marry me. We had a simple garden wedding. Honeymooned in Gurney, IL by Great America, and we stayed at this fun little "theam" motel. In July it will be 6 years that we've been married and it seems like time has just flown by. It seems like we have been married forever (not like...god when will it end, but just that we are like a old married couple). Love you, babe! 

Nugget the dwarf cow

This is Nugget. He's a Chi but un-like a standard size Chi who shuld be under 7lbs. Well lets just say he's a over accheiver and comes in at 13lbs.


As you can see he's a bit "round" Maybe not so much like a ball....but more like a Haggis. But the painfull part of it all is his legs and feet. They are like little spikes, that poke into you when he walks on you, which can be quite painfull.


This is him snuggling up to his mom/Kim. He really is a very sweet boy. He can be a little vocal at times but he's a good boy...most of the time. 

Did I mention that I liked skulls?

I got this good looking guy from Hot topic. It said that he's a air freshner...they were lying about that un-less his sent is "injection moulded plastic". But I didn't get him for the smell, I got him 'cause he's cool looking. So he spends his day hanging from my rear view mirror looking at me. I think the sunset gave him a nice palor this day. 

Our IT Wizzard

This is Jameka. She's our IT Manager, telecom, tech, all around nice person. One of our inside jokes is that part of her duites is to be the sysadmin for our center and as a requirement for that you have to hate all people. But she's not like that at all. She can seem gruff to some people who don't know her, but she has a heart of gold. I'm glad I can call her a friend. 

Yeah!

This is quite a honor for our little center. Especially concerdering that we are the newest center. But we have a super great bunch of agents that kick ass every single day, and a good group of leaders/managment that keeps everyone on target. It came from a lot of hard work of everybody there at the center. I think we can do this again for 2006. Yeah, us! 

Valentine's present from my wife

I love it, it's so realistic looking. The coloration is amazing. It's on the small size so it's more of a childs size but the plates are fused like a adult's. Right now he's looking at me from the top of the monitor at home. Thanks again honey!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I got a thing for skulls. I've got oodles of them at home and plenty of them at work. These guys are on my computer at the base of the monitor...we...keep a eye on each other so to speak.  

My File Cabinet

I don't know why this didn't come over w/ the pics of my cube space but this is my cabinet...well my main cabinet. But because it's in my cube space I have it deocrated. I'm not sure where it's going to end up in the new space so I don't know if I can decorate it yet or not. 

My Cube, My Haven

Well this is my cube at work. As you can see I'm in the corner but I really don't mind it at all. It's a nice location. I can look out and get a good view. The door to the left with the Canadian flag is the door into our confrence room and the door to the right is the Training room and office of Jessica our Traning Manager. So I get decent foot traffic, but not too much.



This is my desk I know it looks messy but everything has it's place and it's comfortable. Now in March big changes are coming. They are redoing a lot of the center, and my little world in the corner will have to come to a end. So I wanted to get a before picture to compare. 

My Work

Well this is the front door where I work, as seen in the morning light.



And here we are at the end of the day. The employee entrance is around the side of the building. They built a smoking area in the back but I haven't been back there to check it out yet so I can't comment on it just yet. But the issue was the smokers hanging around the entrance and the smoke would get sucked into the building. Check back later and I just might venture to the back and see what the new area looks like. 

Rich's Big Ass Truck

It's his baby. It's got a 4 inch suspension lift and big honking tires. He's looking to put a 2 inch body lift on it too. Those tires are frigging 'spensive, he had to replace one and it was somthing like $170 and shipping on top of that.

That's me and the new camera. I know that it's got the fancy LCD display but I was raised on SLR's and the old habits die hard.

Our local vampire

We always suspected that Ellie was a vampire. You have to invite her into the house. She's stealthy, first you think she's behind you, then all of a sudden she's ahead of you. She tries to steal your breath. We finally have photographic evidence. Just look at that...go ahead...look, and see your doom. She's hungry and she's about to sink her fangs into you.



Ok, ok, I just happen to catch her mid-yawn. I still swear she's a vampire though. 

Future Super Wal-Mart

Ok I know that Wal-Mart is usually a comunity killer. Pushing out smaller businesses, and abusing their empolyees, but I'm a poor, poor man. I need that cheap stuff. As much as I'd like to send my business elsewhere, I usually don't have the $ to do so. It's going up North of I-80 in Ottawa. Obviously once it's up and running they won't need the old Wal-Mart on the South side of I-80, the big question is what's going to happen to the old building. K-mart left the area and the building is abandoned, and putting a drain on the area. When the Wal-Mart across the street closes the area is going to wither. I hope someone else comes in. I'm talking to you Target! Now that's a store I can get behind. 

Me

Well I'm trying the whole beard/moustach thing. Ehh...it's kina spotty, but I'm trying to let it grow to see if it fills in some. Not that there will be more hair but longer hair. But I'm sure it won't last very long into the year. I get fairly hot and I'm sure I'll be beggin for mercy when it starts to get warm. We'll see how long it lasts before I save it all off.

I've been wanting this game for awhile now but my system couldn't handle it. Well when we updated it, I wanted it. So I got it for X-mass. After a few stops and starts I finally got up and running. If you play too, come see me. I'm on the Infinity server. I'm a Magic/Scrapper. This is my first MMG and it's a blast. I'm still learning and exploring, and ending up in the hospital. (Lord the debt is crushing!) But I'm crusing right along. I'm lvl18 right now and can't wait to get more moves. 

My Little Princess

Ellie, she's usually so proper. But she can burp with the best of them. Of course she tries to pretend that it wasn't her, but we know better. She's sweet, but she's got no patience for Max. She would rather not have him around but he loves his sister and keeps trying to get her to play with him.

My buddy

This is my main guy, Max. It's short for Maximum. If you met him you'd know what I mean. Everything he does is "To the MAX!"
